Ethiopia's Covid-19 cases amount to 239
Ethiopia's Ministry of Health reported on Sunday 29 new Covid-19 cases amounting to 239 patients.
Those new cases were detected within 2,171 samples analyzed during the recent 24 hours, assured today the healthcare authority on Sunday's press briefing.
According to the source, all those new afflicted are Ethiopian citizens from 15 to 45 years of age.
Of all these cases, 21 reside in the capital; seven are from the regional state of Ogaden, who were in quarantine, and a patient is from the Oromia administration.
Likewise, the Ministry notified two more recoveries, rising to 99 recoveries from Covid-19 disease.
Since the first case was reported on March 13, Ethiopia records 34,860 tests, 239 cases, 133 active cases, 99 recoveries, five deaths and two people returning to their country, Japan.
