UAE set pace in the Vaccination of its citizens



Year 2020 was a year no one will forget so soon, not because of many events it came with but because for those that lost loved ones to the cold hands of corona Virus, it will be an unforgettable year for them and many other people all over the world.

With damage done to world economy, scientist all over have been scrambling for the development of vaccines to counter its effect, with success recorded at the tail end of 2020, many countries have proposed 2021 as a year of massive vaccination of their citizens.

UAE is one of the countries with massive achievement in vaccination of it's citizens, vaccinating over 1million people in first ten days of 2021.

With efforts like that of the gulf Nation by other countries, the world may be crawling away from the menace of covid-19 in the first quarter of 2021.

UAE and Ethiopia discuss more avenues to enhance cooperation

  Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), received at the Fund’s headquarters Suleiman Dedefo, Ambassador of Ethiopia to the UAE. Senior officials from both sides were present at the meeting. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them, especially through the Fund’s support to the Ethiopian government to achieve sustainable development goals by financing development and investment projects. Al Suwaidi emphasised the Fund’s commitment to supporting Ethiopia in its developmental efforts, noting that the visit presented an opportunity to discuss issues of common interest.
